Family Ski Company specialises in providing catered chalet holidays with a flexible programme of childcare. As a Head Activity Leader you will hold professional qualifications in childcare and be approachable, responsible, caring and diplomatic. You will also have proven organisational and people management skills.
Head Activity Leaders lead and work in resort within a team of 5 - 11 Nannies and Activity Leaders, providing fun, safe and secure childcare. Children holidaying with Family Ski Company can range from between 3 months to 12 years of age and each child needs a differing level of childcare. Each resort has its own well-equipped crèche and Head Activity Leaders are expected to help design the weekly activity time table, manage bi-weekly team meetings, produce staff rotas and liaise directly with the parents.
NNEB, BTEC or NVQ level 3 in Childcare, a Diploma in Nursery Nursing or equivalent UK qualifications, professional experience essential. Head Activity Leaders are expected to be approachable, responsible, caring and diplomatic, and also have proven organisational and people management skills.
Family Ski Company provide their resort teams with an excellent employment package. This includes your food and accommodation, full season lift pass, ski or snowboard hire, uniform (including ski jacket), return transport from the UK to resort, medical and personal liability insurance. You will also receive a weekly wage paid into a UK bank account. All applicants must have a full UK National Insurance Number, UK bank account and hold an EU Passport, and due to the nature of our business all employees must be ISA registered and hold a recent CRB enhanced disclosure, we can assist with this process.
